Forever Remembered I knew that after walking into room 113 my life was spillage to be changed. I saw nurses saying, sorry, familiar faces with tears falling fast from their eyeball, and arms initiative wide for hugs. I knew something was wrong as I saw her lying still in her bed, eyes closed, and arms crossed over her stomach. Grandma Dorothys second stroke had belatedly taken her life. Later, I wake up to my atomic number 91 flicking my bedroom light on and him standing tall in my doorway. I could tell by the way he looked at me he didnt want today to come.He slowly walked to my bedside and crawled into bed with me. I had never seen my dad cry before so I did what any disco biscuit year old would do, I wrapped my small arms nigh his neck and cried with him. I adore you Daddy. Now, August 9th was the day we all dreaded, the funeral. I had never been to a funeral before this was all new to me. pot were dressed in black handing out tissues and saying small prayers for my fami ly. I watched some man I had never seen before speak such honest words about my grandmother. Now, this man had said something I knew Id never forget, her golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands go to rest, graven image broke our hearts to prove to us he only takes the best. He brought so more than feeling to this wide crowd of people there were happy tears, lamentable tears, happy smiles, sad smiles, happy memories, and sad memories. He said, Now today we remember the life of Dorothy Edna Callahan, as he slowly lowered the inclose six feet below the ground. My dad slowly bent down and wrapped his muscular arms around me, almost crushing my red rose. I said, Im going to miss her so much daddy, why did she have to go? He whispered back, Its going to be alright Casey Ill miss her too but shes in a better place now. I walked outside slowly, tears falling fast from my eyes, a red rose in one hand and my dads in the other. After today I knew I was going to remember my Grandm other forever.
